LADIES TEAM

Hello Ladies

It is P&D team time… Thank you to the ladies who have indicated that they would like to play in the P&D league this year.

For any new members, this is an annual league played at home and at clubs from here to Tavistock, into Cornwall and all over Plymouth.

Each week from April through to July (roughly) – we send out four female players in the A team and four in the B team to play two opposition pairs.

All members can put their name forward to be play in the leagues.

We currently have two teams, but if there are lots of new members who would like to join our teams, we can work towards increasing this for next year.

Below are the names of the ladies who I currently have on the last to register with the league. If you would like to play for the club and your name is not listed please let me know and we can make sure you are registered and invited to any pre-season training.

We have also been offered pre-seson match practice with Plymouth University B team (specifically club level not county level, so don't be afraid of the level) and so far I have four ladies for the 22nd March 1pm - 3pm - outdside:

  • Barbara Bultman
  • Nicky Scutt
  • Suzie Matthews
  • Susan Snowdon - was this correct Susan?

If more ladies are keen to play some friendly matches, I can offfer the 5th and and 12th of April as well. Please do email me to let me know if you are intersted with your availability.

If you are interested in playing for the club in leagiue matches, please email me: Lesley.crocker@sdtennis.co.uk
