Dear All,
The current cycle of Singles Boxes finishes this Sunday 16th and I intend to format the next cycle on Monday 17th. As we are coming into Spring & Summer ,and Club League matches commence I would intend to run the next cycle over a longer period allowing plenty of time to complete matches around other commitments-and of course playing some competitive Singles hones your game for other matches!
There was a query this cycle about whether matches should be played indoors or outdoors . We are very fortunate to have the indoor courts and particularly during the winter months booking to play inside guarantees a match will not be cancelled due to inclement weather. Having said that particularly during the warmer and lighter summer months there is no reason why if both players agree they should not play outdoors. If it cannot be agreed then the fairest way to decide would be to toss a coin as the boxes are neither exclusively an indoor or outdoor event.
