Hi everybody,
On Sunday 18th November, the club will be hosting it’s second International 200 TouchTennis Championship event. This game, based off the sport of tennis that we all know and love, has risen to new heights in the last few years, and on Sunday we would love for you to join us at the club to watch some of the world’s best working their magic on court!
The draw will feature many stars of the game, including the poker-faced powerhouse and current men's world number 8, James Rosenthal; the serve-and-volley wizard and world number 13, Matthew Boucher, and a lady as crafty and clever as they come… the current world number 3, Tash Li. Many local club players will be taking to our indoor carpet courts to test themselves against these great competitors, including Samuel Wilson and James Scarr, who have won 4 titles between them in 2018 and are ranked 18 and 20 in the world, respectively.
But what is so incredible about this game is that it is truly a sport for all, and players of all ages and abilities will be competing in our event. Come and claim your FREE seat in the stands, and enjoy witnessing:
The incredible level of the world’s top ten players doing what they do best.
The intelligent, chess-like tennis skills displayed by our veterans in the Over 40s event.
An exhibition of doubles at a speed you’ve never seen before.
A positive yet competitive atmosphere where two players will throw everything at each other on court, only to hug at the net and get a beer together immediately afterwards.
