The following Notice was posted on the Clubs Website recently to bring everyone up to date with the current situation. We would like to bring to your attention two changes that have been made to simplify the administrative burden of non members using the courts.
Non Members can now book and pay online at a standard court rate of £6.00 per hour which is in line with most other clubs in the South West.
The procedure for members to bring guests is the same but the rates have been simplified. The distinction between singles and doubles has been abolished. It is simply £3 per hour for an adult and £2 per hour for a Junior to play as member's guests.

NOTICE
The four outside courts are open for play but the building and indoor courts remain closed at present. We are monitoring this situation for changes in official guidance. There are significant restrictions to be followed when playing to comply with government and LTA regulations and guidance. It is essential that all players fully comply with the Rules contained within this notice. Failure to do so could risk the Club's ability to keep the courts open.
The outdoor tennis courts are open for play 7 days a week. The opening times will vary to suit demand and are scheduled on the booking sheets. When the courts are closed, the gates will be locked.
Rules
• MAINTAIN 2 METRE SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL TIMES
• Courts must be booked on MyCourts in advance. Do not just turn up on a speculative basis. A maximum of 2.0 hours can be booked or used by a player on any one day.
• If a member has booked a court but decides not to play, the member must cancel the booking as soon as possible.
• It is most helpful if members include the names of all their playing partners on the booking sheet. If a member wishes to play with a non member, please show A Guest on the booking sheet
• The guest fee is £3 per adult per hour or £2 per Junior (U18) per hour. The member is responsible for ensuring that the guest fees are paid and that the guests comply with these Rules.

• The building will be closed so there will be no access to toilets or changing rooms
• You will only be able to access the courts through the side gate (football field end). This gate should remain latched shut after use so you should wear gloves to open and shut the gate. You may also need gloves to access the football field from the car park.
• You should only enter the premises 5 minutes before your court booking and leave reasonably promptly after play. Keep well clear of other players as they enter or exit the courts. Avoid touching nets, netposts, fencing or any other surface.
• You must supply your own equipment and not share it with other players.
• Great care should be used in how you handle tennis balls. you should bring your own balls with initials clearly marked. Do not pick up anyone else's balls with your own hands. Only serve with your own balls. Kick or push other people's balls back to them with racquet or foot.
• Avoid chasing balls onto other courts if in use.
• It is recommended that you bring and use your own hand sanitizer.

Visitor Bookings
Pay and Play bookings can now be made online at

Court fees for £6 per court per hour and payment is made at the time of booking. Unfortunately it is not possible to offer refunds unless the courts are closed by the club.
