Dear Members,
From Monday 27th July We propose to open the indoor courts as follows:
Monday 10 to 2 and 4 to 8
Tuesday 10 to 2 and 5.30 to 9
Wednesday 10 to 2
Thursday 10 to 2 and 5.30 to 9
Friday 10 to 2 and 5.30 to 9
Courts are now open to be booked.
Saturdays and Sundays remain closed at present. This will be reviewed according to demand over the Summer. Club sessions will continue to be outdoors in line with the LTA guidelines.
If the courts are in demand there will be more hours added.
Members will be required to still enter the building through the rear entrance to keep only one entrance open for the summer period.
When members book a court, it is very important to include all the names of the players involved. If there is a "visitor" they will need to leave their details on the "sign in" sheet at the Reception desk for Track and Trace. We already have members details.
When entering the indoor courts, the doors will be wedged open and the nets will be checked by staff when opening the courts, so there will be no need to touch this area. When leaving, please be aware of who is leaving other courts and wait for them to pass to socially distanced from them.
Changing rooms are still not allowed to be used, and only the disabled toilet will be in operation. Members are encouraged to come already changed ready for play and shower at home.
Our tea/coffee/cake facilities are open, but please whenever possible, pay by the contactless card method.
The guidelines are constantly being updated so I will keep you all updated as we move forward.
