Strategic Plan - Fundraising

Hello Members

As many of your pointed out in the survey, some of our facilities are looking a bit tired. We have a three pronged approach to help us get the place looking ship shape again and we need your help:

CROWD FUNDING

Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising money from a large number of people, like club members, friends, family and users, typically via the internet. Crowdfunding is a form of crowdsourcing and alternative finance.

Where organisations can demonstrate a need or a desire for a project by raising funds themselves, other funders who can match the amount of money raised or provide additional funds are more likely to award the project money.

  • You can donate to the fund
  • Share on social media to raise awareness of our fund
  • Come up with ways you can help us raise money

VOLUNTEERING

There are many ways you can help us by giving your time, now and ongoing throughout the year. Here are just some of the things we may need help with, but if you have others skills you can contribute please do let us know:

  • Painting and decorating
  • Gardening
  • Maintenance

Some people have already volunteered through the survey, but please contact me if you have would like to help.

DONATING

Very soon we will be launching a second hand / preloved shop. All proceeds will be put towards the renovations. If you have preloved tennis clothes and or equipment that you would like to donate to our shop please bring them to reception.

We are looking for tennis clothes and equipment only, and in good condition please. If you have children’s trainers to donate, these are being collected and donated to charity.

Thank you Members and I look forward to working with you all throughout the year.

Kind regards

Lesley Crocker
