Planning for Opening Outside Courts

Dear Members,

We are all very pleased to see that the government are permitting us to play tennis again, albeit with significant restrictions. The LTA have issued Guidance notes to Venues, Players and Coaches. The Committee are studying these documents and planning the re-opening of the Outside Courts, once suitable procedures are agreed to minimise the risks. The courts will only be open for singles play (except for 4 members of one household).

It is likely that the courts will be open from 10am to 6pm in the first instance with access from the playing fields. The building will be closed so the changing rooms and toilets will not be available. If possible, we may be able to re-open on Friday 15th May but this cannot be confirmed until the planning and implementation of any necessary measures are complete. We will let you know with a further announcement.
