Hi Pickleballer,
Here is your invitation to compete in the next DUPR league on Sunday the 5th of July, 2.30 to 6.00 pm, the cost will be £12.00 per entrant.
Looking forward to all of you signing up. Before you e-mail, could you please read the details of the event, noting the new payment process prior to the day.
1. This event is designed to give players competitive yet friendly matches, with and against players of a similar standard.
2. Each match will be entered into the DUPR system as soon as practical following completion of the event.
3. Each player is assigned to a court with players of a similar standard.
4. Every player will play 12 games partnered with the other players and will compete against all combinations of opponents.
5. Games are to be played to 11 with side-out scoring.
6. Players are selected on a first come basis, maximum 50 players.
7. To be eligible for acceptance you must have a DUPR registration and you agree to have South Devon Pickleball as one of your clubs.
8. At least 10 days before the event I shall publish a provisional list of players and will send a payment link including South Devon Tennis Centre terms of use.
9. Players on the provisional list will have a minimum of 3 days to complete the payment. Failure to complete the payment within the timescale will result in the player being removed from the list and the position offered to players on the reserve list.
10. Once payment is made there will be no refunds and no facility to pass the position to another person.
11. Should a player not turn up without at least 48 hours prior notice, this person will be excluded from future events.
12. On the day players are to check in with the organiser(s) prior to entering the courts.
13. All scores are to be entered on the sheets provided and handed to the organiser(s) at the end of play. It is the players responsibility for the accuracy of the sheets, and these sheets will form the DUPR submission.
14. If you do notice something that is not correct, can you please contact either me or the Tennis Centre direct who will investigate it. Please do not go directly to DUPR.
